 Anonymity

The Anonymity section allows you to select or add a proxy that you want to use. By being behind a proxy server you can be sure that your real IP address will never be revealed.

The Enable Invisible Browsing check box MUST be checked each time you want to use a different IP address. Your new IP address will be similar with the IP address of the proxy that you select from the proxy list (proxy combo box).

Each time you select a proxy server from the list the proxy performances are tested. You will see proxy Response Time and Download Speed. Both are extremely important for the browsing.

The results are:

Each proxy tested will be included in the Already Tested Proxies.

If you double click on a already tested proxy - that proxy will become the active one.

In order to obtain (update) the list of free proxies you have to press the "Refresh List" button - which will generate a list with proxies that are available at that time.

Please note that the proxy list is updated automatically each time Invisible Browsing starts.

The Add New Proxy button allows you to enter a proxy server that can be used. This MUST be in ProxyIP:Proxy Port format. See more details in the Tips and Tricks section.

The proxy performances or if it is available or not, will be show after you press the OK button form the Add New Proxy Dialog.

Please note that each time you want to test a proxy server you have to press the Start Testing button and wait for the testing results.

There are different ways of obtaining free proxies in the Tips & Tricks section.

The What Is My IP? Button will load a test page (http://www.amplusnet.com/services/whatismyip/whatismyip.asp) on which you can see your current IP address.

Tips: After you check the Invisible browsing checkbox in order to use a different IP address please press CTRL + Refresh in order to update the information in this page or any other page that is tracking your IP address.

We recommend you to always uncheck the Enable Invisible Browsing checkbox when you are visiting secure web sites or email web sites such as yahoo or hotmail. Also please proceed in the same way is a page is not loading if the Enable Invisible Browsing is checked. Always Use CTRL + Refresh(F5) in order to reload it.

For more details please do not hesitate to contact us by email and we will provide you an answer to all your questions.

 Advanced

If you want Invisible Browsing to run at start just check the "Run Invisible Browsing at Start Up" checkbox.

The "Local Proxy Settings" is used to test the port of your proxy if you are in a Local Area Network (LAN) connection.

 Online Privacy

Online Privacy is an efficient and easy-to-use privacy protection tool that securely deletes online Internet tracks and program activity records that are stored in your browser and other hidden files on your computer.

The online privacy options can help you keep your browser clean by removing your Internet URL History, temporary Internet files, cookies, AutoComplete forms and passwords History, Internet Explorer Favorites, cache entries and last typed url(s), and also the Active X and Java Script can be blocked. All the options can be checked or unchecked at any time.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Some Internet items cannot be cleaned if Internet Explorer windows are opened, so if you want to be sure your online tracks are cleaned, close all Internet Explorer windows and then perform a clean.

Below is a description of the clean options for performing the best clean.

Clean options

Description

"Clear Internet History"

Internet Explorer windows must be closed to clear the History. If you do not want your internet activity to be logged at all, before you start your internet session open an internet window, write an address, wait untill the page loads completely (you'll see that the page was added to the History). Now close all Internet Explorer windows, and perform a clean. After this clean you'll be able to browse the internet and no address will be added to your History. NOTE: You have to do this cleaning only once in one Windows session (meaning you don't have to do it untill next time you restart your computer).

"Clear Typed URL"

Internet Explorer windows should be closed in order to clear all typed URLs

"Clear Temporary Internet Files"

Can be performed even if Internet Explorer windows are opened.

"Clear Internet Cookies"

"Clear AutoComplete Forms History"

"Clear AutoComplete Passwords History"

"Clear Internet Explorer Favorites"

 Troubleshooting

For Dial Up Users:

Dial Up users should set the connection they want to use as default in the Internet Explorer Browser. If you want to change your connection properties in Internet Explorer we advice you to disable Invisible Browsing (if this is enabled) and enable it after you have done so.

To set your internet connection as default, open an Internet Explorer window, access the "Tools" menu, then "Internet Options". A window opens. Select the "Connections" tab, and there in the "Dial-up and Virtual Private Network settings" you will see your dial-up connections. Your default connection is the connection which has "(default)" written after it. If you want to use Invisible Browsing with your dial-up connection, you should choose "Dial whenever a network connection is not present" or "Always dial my default connection", then click on the internet connection you want to use with Invisible Browsing and click the "Set Default" button. Then click Apply.

 Tips

“How can I find free proxies?“ issue.

This is pretty simple, there are several dedicated web sites that are offering this feature. For example:

http://www.stayinvisible.com/index.pl/proxy_list http://www.publicproxyservers.com/page1.html http://www.proxy4free.com/page1.html

and many others -> just search the web and you’ll find an impressive list of websites that are offering proxy lists. All you need is an IPAddress:Port combination which you can add using the Add New Proxy Button.

“How do I share the Internet Connection using Invisible Browsing?“ issue.

This can be done because the Invisible Browsing contains a fully functional http proxy, which can route the traffic from a machine located in LAN thought a remote proxy server in to the Internet. So all you have to do is to configure your browsers from the client machine to use a proxy server - with the IP address of the Invisible Browsing machine and the 8080 port. In the following example (considering that we have the Invisible Browsing installed on a machine with the 10.0.0.1 IP address) you have to add the following settings:

“Can I use Opera, Mozilla or Netscape for Online Anonymity?“ issue.

For Opera you have to go to Fine Menu/ Preferences (ALT+P) and Network section and press proxy servers button. You have to configure Opera to use a proxy server like in the next image.

Please note that this settings will work only if the Enable Invisible Browsing checkbox is checked.

For Netscape and Mozilla you have to use similar settings, meaning check Enable Invisible Browsing and configure Opera to use a proxy server with 127.0.0.1 as proxy IP address and 8080 as proxy port. See next image Mozilla settings.

“I use a What is my IP page and my real IP was visible“ issue.

This is possible because that page is using the java virtual machine to reveal information about your real IP address. By using Invisible Browsing you can be sure that you can hide your ip address but you have to disable Java as well. This configuration must be done only once and the virtual machine will not reveal your IP address. For this please check the next images.

If you are using Microsoft Java VM

If you are using a different Java Virtual Machine
