Anonymous Browsing Toolbar - Usage

All you have to do is to download and install Anonymous Browsing Toolbar and you are ready to surf the web in complete privacy and anonymity. No manual configuration or settings are required. Just mouse right click on your Internet Explorer and activate Anonymous Browsing Toolbar.

Anonymous Browsing Toolbar hides your IP address by routing your Internet traffic through remote servers. Simply choose from the country list the one you want to appear and press the "Enable" button!

By selecting a proxy from a specify country you are instantly given an IP address in that country. In this way your anonymity is assured by changing your real IP address so that you appear to be located in that country.

You also have the possibility to enter an anonymous proxy of your own. all you have to do is click in the window that displays the proxy list, enter the proxy adress and port number, press ENTER and the proxy will be added in the list.

You can add proxies manually in the list by pressing the Add Proxy button. Enter the new proxy and press OK button.

Anonymous Browsing Toolbar - TroubleShooting

1. For Dial Up Users:
Dial Up users should set the connection they want to use as default in the Internet Explorer Browser. If you want to change your connection properties in Internet Explorer we advice you to disable Anonymous Browsing Toolbar (if this is enabled), and enable it after you have done so.

To set your internet connection as default, open an Internet Explorer window, access the "Tools" menu, then "Internet Options". A window opens. Select the "Connections" tab, and there in the "Dial-up and Virtual Private Network settings" you will see your dial-up connections. Your default connection is the connection which has "(default)" written after it. If you want to use Anonymous Browsing with your dial-up connection, you should choose "Dial whenever a network connection is not present" or "Always dial my default connection", then click on the internet connection you want to use with Anonymous Browsing and click the "Set Default" button. Then click Apply.

2. Refresh the help page (which shows your current IP):
When you load a page, the Internet Explorer Browser saves most of the information from that page (pictures, text) in what is called Temporary Internet Files. When you go to the same page again, it reads the information from the temporary files, in order to save the time needed to reread the information from the web. This is why after you select a proxy from the list, and click help, the browser shows the same information. Press the Refresh button in Internet Explorer or press F5 after you enable a specific proxy and the page will reload from the web, showing your current information.

3. Optimize your connection speed:
Try different proxies from the list. Some proxies are faster than other, and it is also possible for few not to work at the time you choose them.

4. Some proxies may route their traffic using other proxies.
This may explain why your new IP is different from your real IP, but also from the proxy you have chosen.

5. “I use What is my IP page and my real IP was visible“ issue.
This is possible because that page is using the java virtual machine to reveal information about your real IP address. By using Anonymous Browsing Toolbar you can be sure that you can hide your ip address but you have to disable Java as well. This configuration must be done only once and the virtual machine will not reveal your IP address. For this please check the next images.

If you are using a different Java Virtual Machine
